Despite its rich tradition and history, there is no good advertisement on khadi either offline or online but we all know that a well-made advertisement plays a critical role in marketing and sales of a product. Through advertisement, buyer can know about that product. We still have a lot to do with khadi because the use of khadi is significant but there is no discussion about it. Although the domestic products survive through the big fashion houses in our country, they do not discuss about these products. Meaning, they make no effort to inform potential buyers about these products. But now it is time for them to create small advertisements of their khadi products online and offline. The main goal of their advertisements will be to attract buyers by informing them about the product. Seeing those advertisements people will become interested to purchase their products. If you look up on Google for khadi, you will find videos mainly for sales, but there is no advertisement. Well-made advertisement leaves an impression on us and makes us interested to know about that product. The advertisement about khadi should have similar impact on people. Khadi is our heritage so we all need to work together keeps this great tradition alive. I hope that one day, some organization in Bangladesh make such an advertisement on khadi that would have a long lasting impact on people’s mind.
